About the Warhawks
AUM (13-20, 4-14 GSC) concludes its three-game slate against Talladega after being swept in a GSC series at Montevallo over the weekend by scores of 10-3, 11-4, 4-0.
 
Offensively, Auburn Montgomery is hitting .251 (254-1012) with a .346 slugging percentage off the strength of 37 doubles, four triple and 17 home runs while tallying 130 walks for a .352 on base percentage and 106 RBI. Senior infielder Nathan Langley leads three Warhawks hitting over .300 with a .388 average, followed by redshirt junior infielder Hayden Friesen and junior infielder Jonathan Brandt with marks of .367 and .312, respectively. Langley also leads AUM in hits (47), walks (23), stolen bases (13), doubles (11), triples (two) slugging percentage (.562) and on base percentage (.479) while Brandt hits a team-best four home runs with 16 RBI.
 
On the mound, AUM sports a 5.16 ERA while tallying 179 strikeouts with 78 walks in 265.0 innings of work to date. Redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher Hank Scott logs a team-high 55.1 innings over nine starts, tied with senior left-handed pitcher Garrett Deloney, to go with a team-leading four victories. Deloney fans a team-best 43 batters while Langley holds a team-low 1.54 ERA with a .244 opposing batting average. Freshman righty Sam Steigert makes a team-high 15 mound appearances with three saves.
 
About the Tornadoes
Talladega College, (20-13, 7-2 GCAC) swept Tougaloo College in a conference series over the weekend and hosts Point University in a doubleheader prior to hosting AUM.
 
The Tornadoes are hitting .295 (295-1000) as a team with a .418 slugging percentage coming from 49 doubles, four triples and 22 home runs while tallying 224 RBI and 145 walks. Emmanuel Amparo leads TC with a .400 average and .444 slugging percentage while Julian Lopez boasts 29 runs scored, 28 RBI, 15 walks and four home runs.
 
On the mound, Talladega has a team ERA of 5.04 with 236 strikeouts and 109 walks in 246.1 innings. Julian Fitts tosses a team-leading 44.0 innings with a team-best 46 strikeouts while Bryan Garcia holds a team-high four victories and Wilkin Louis sports a team-low 2.16 ERA.
