Catlin Carter led the Warhawks in scoring against the Trojans, picking up 18 points and four rebounds with four steals. Freshman Sampson netted 11 points in 21 minutes of action, going 3-5 from the floor and 5-6 from the free-throw line.

Despite the Warhawks struggling from the 3-point line to start the game, graduate transfer Tamia Willingham-King tallied six early points to keep the Warhawks in the game but trailed by the score of 9-11. AUM and

The second quarter is where we saw Trevecca start to distance themselves from the Warhawks. The Trojans led by as many as eight early in the second quarter after some turnovers from the Warhawks. The lead grew to as much as 13 before the Warhawks were able to cut the deficit down to seven before the halftime break.

Jordan Brewster started to heat up to begin the second half as her momentum aided the Warhawks to an important run to cut the Trojan lead to three to begin the third quarter. A quick 5-0 run gave AUM their first lead of the game after a pair of free throws from Derienne Black, but the

Trojans would close out the third quarter leading by two.
The defense was king to start the fourth quarter, meaning Trevecca Nazarene maintained their slim lead over the Warhawks to start the period. With 2:05 left in the game, Jamya Tyus was able to level the game at 55.

AUM took the lead once more with 1:11 left after a pair of free throws from Carter gave AUM a 57-55 lead.
