PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Ylenia De Mango of the Auburn University at Montgomery volleyball team was named to the 2022 Gulf South Conference All-Tournament team.
De Mango played a large part in the Warhawks advancing to the program's first appearance in the GSC semifinals. She posted 36 kills, four solo blocks, and assisted on five blocks in the tournament.
The sophomore posted 10 kills in the first-round match at Valdosta State and scored 12.5 points.
The Bari, Italy native followed her performance against the Blazers with a 16-kill performance in a win against Mississippi College in the second round. She wrapped up the tournament with 10 kills in the semifinals against Union University.
Joining De Mango on the All-Tournament team were West Florida's Taylor Vaneekeren, Kierra Potts, and Avery Rodgers. Union's Jordan Vick, Emily Calhoon, and Montevallo's Jillian Morgan. Vaneekeren was named Most Outstanding Player.
