WORDS FROM THE WARHAWKS

"Wow, what a night in Oxford," exclaimed head coach Ryan Thompson. "I am excited about the way we came out and started the season. One of the big reasons I wanted us to race this weekend was because we have a large group of new runners, and we really wanted to use tonight's race to get a sense of how they need to run and what groups to race in. Nicole Luther ran really strong for us, and Abagail Little and Kenlie Nelson were great finishing third and fourth for us in their first collegiate races. We finished eighth overall, and only NCAA Division I teams finished above us. Now it's time to get right back to work in the morning."
