MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery head volleyball coach Flavia Siqueira is excited to announce the 2023 regular season, which includes the Warhawks Invitational and 12 matches inside the AUM Athletics Complex. 

"Our 2023 schedule is not only challenging, but exciting," Siqueira said. "The goals of attending these preseason tournaments are to expose our players to high level competition and develop the team chemistry before entering conference play."

The Warhawks begin the season at the Newberry College Volleyball Invitational (Sept. 1-2) and at the Rollins College Invitational (Sept. 8-9) with a road match at Albany State University (Sept. 4) between the invitationals at 5 p.m. 

AUM opens play at the AUM Athletics Complex with the Warhawks Invitational. The Invitational includes 10 matches in three days in Montgomery, Alabama. AUM plays Miles College (Sept. 14) at 6 p.m. as the lone game of the day. On September 15, AUM takes on Albany State at 7 p.m. and faces off against Southern Arkansas University and Edward Waters University on the following day. "The GSC continues to get stronger and more competitive each year; therefore, we want to be prepared mentally and physically to achieve success during the fall," said Siqueira.

Auburn Montgomery hits the road for three consecutive road matches to open the GSC slate at Mississippi College (Sept. 19), the University of West Florida (Sept. 22), and the University of West Alabama (Sept. 26). 

The Warhawks return to the Capital City for a five-game home stand against Christian Brothers University (Sept. 29) at 6 p.m. and Union University (Sept. 30) at 1 p.m. for Youth Day. MC visits AUM on October 3 for Warhawk Spotlight and Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day at 6 p.m. The Warhawks welcome the University of Montevallo and The University of Alabama in Huntsville on October 6 and 7 to wrap up the home stand. 

AUM travels to Lee University and Shorter University on October 13 and 14 before participating in the SSC/GSC Crossover event on October 21-22. On October 25, the Warhawks take on Valdosta State University in Georgia. 

Senior Day festivities take place against the University of West Georgia (Oct. 28) at 1 p.m. Breast Cancer Awareness Day is on October 31 against West Alabama at 6 p.m. The home portion of the schedule closes against West Florida on November 3 at 5 p.m. 

The Warhawks travel for the final time of the regular season in Tennessee against Union (Nov. 10) and Christian Brothers (Nov. 11).
