Six Warhawks Earn GSC All-Conference Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ahead of the 2025 GSC Men's Soccer Championships, the Gulf South Conference has released its annual postseason awards, and the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's soccer team is well represented. Noah Fernandes, Benjamin Hoffmann, Alan De Paula, Jamie Ward, Sean Keane, and Robiston Lukau all earned All-Conference recognition for their exceptional performances this season.

The Warhawks finished the regular season with a 9-4-3 overall record, going 6-3-2 in Gulf South Conference play to claim the No. 3 seed in the GSC Men's Soccer Championships. With six players earning All-Conference honors, AUM enters the postseason as a strong contender, bringing skill, depth, and momentum to the hunt for another championship title.

COACH THORNE'S COMMENTS
"Very proud of our lads getting the recognition from coaches in the GSC. This comes from a lot of hard work and dedication over the years. Now we are in the hunt for team hardware!"

NOAH FERNANDES | MIDFIELDER | FIRST TEAM ALL-GSC
Fernandes has been one of the Gulf South Conference's most dynamic newcomers, recording seven goals and six assists through the regular season for 20 total points. He ranks fourth in the GSC in assists and is tied for first with four game-winning goals, while also sitting among the league's top 10 in total points.

The freshman midfielder has provided both creativity and composure for the Warhawks, establishing himself as one of the conference's brightest young talents. Fernandes earned GSC Freshman of the Week honors twice and was named GSC Player of the Week on Oct. 28 after helping AUM secure its postseason berth.

BENJAMIN HOFFMANN | FORWARD | FIRST TEAM ALL-GSC
Hoffmann continues to be a driving force for the Warhawks' attack, earning First Team All-GSC honors for the second consecutive year. The senior forward leads AUM with eight goals this season, ranking seventh in the conference in that category.

A veteran presence in the lineup, Hoffmann has appeared in all 16 matches and totaled 19 points while anchoring an offense that averages two goals per contest. His consistency and leadership have been instrumental in guiding AUM back to the GSC postseason.

ALAN DE PAULA | DEFENDER | SECOND TEAM ALL-GSC
De Paula has been a commanding presence on the Warhawks' back line, contributing to six regular-season shutouts while also adding six goals, third most on the team. The sophomore defender's ability to impact both ends of the field made him one of the conference's most well-rounded defenders. De Paula earned GSC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 21 after scoring in AUM's 4-0 victory over Montevallo while helping limit the Falcons to just two shots on goal.

JAMIE WARD | DEFENDER | SECOND TEAM ALL-GSC
Ward has been a model of consistency for the Warhawks' defense, starting 15 of 16 matches and helping the team post six clean sheets during the regular season. His steady play and organization along the back line have been key to AUM's defensive success. The sophomore defender also added a goal this year, contributing offensively while maintaining his reliability as one of the team's most dependable defenders.

SEAN KEANE | MIDFIELDER | SECOND TEAM ALL-GSC
Keane has been a steady presence in the midfield for the Warhawks, starting all 14 of his appearances this season. He's recorded three assists while leading the team with a .600 shots-on-goal percentage. A strong two-way player, Keane's ball distribution and defensive work rate have been vital to AUM's ability to control possession throughout the year. His consistency and impact in the middle third have earned him a well-deserved spot on the All-GSC Second Team.

ROBISTUN LUKAU | FORWARD | SECOND TEAM ALL-GSC
Lukau has been a balanced contributor in AUM's attack, totaling four goals and five assists so far this season. His five assists rank seventh in the GSC and third among Warhawks, reflecting his ability to both create and capitalize on scoring chances. The junior forward has started 12 matches and continues to play an integral role in AUM's offensive rhythm heading into postseason play.
