INMAN, S.C. – Ashley Nelson earned a share of the individual title at the 2026 Converse Fall Invite, tying for first place with a career-best performance to lead the Auburn University at Montgomery women's golf team to a fifth-place finish Tuesday at Woodfin Ridge Golf Club.
 
Nelson finished at even par (216) over three rounds, tying with King's Celia Mendez for first place. The finish marked the best of Nelson's career and was highlighted by two career-low rounds to close the tournament.
 
After opening the tournament with a 76 (+4), Nelson carded a 70 (-2) in the second round to surpass her previous career-best round of 71 (-1). She followed with another 70 (-2) in Tuesday's final round, recording back-to-back career-low rounds and finishing even par for the tournament.
 
AUM finished fifth among 11 teams with a three-round total of 950 (+86). The Warhawks posted rounds of 317 (+29), 320 (+32) and 313 (+25), with their final-round score marking their best of the tournament. Mount Olive won the team title with a total of 915 (+51).

• Katie Brannon tied for 21st place at 241 (+25), shooting rounds of 76 (+4), 83 (+11) and 82 (+10).
• Aubrie Medford tied for 29th place at 247 (+31), posting rounds of 85 (+13), 80 (+8) and 82 (+10).
• Hailey Westmoreland tied for 33rd place at 249 (+33), recording rounds of 80 (+8), 88 (+16) and 81 (+9).
• Taylor Hettenhausen tied for 39th place at 252 (+36), carding rounds of 85 (+13), 87 (+15) and 80 (+8).
