MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its annual Academic All-District Team following the conclusion of the 2025-26 men's basketball season, and Auburn University at Montgomery placed three Warhawks on this year's list:
Elhadji Thiam,
Colby Williams, and
Jamarious Martin.
The recognition highlights each student-athlete's outstanding performance in the classroom and meaningful contributions on the field.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, players must appear in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start at least two-thirds of them. All nominees must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and true freshmen are ineligible due to experience requirements.
ELHADJI THIAM
Senior | Forward | Interdisciplinary Studies | 3.81 GPA
Thiam was a cornerstone for the Warhawks this season, appearing in all 28 games and making 25 starts. Averaging 26.1 minutes per contest, he led the team with 300 points (10.7 per game) on a 55.6 shooting percentage and dominated the boards with 145 total rebounds.
A force on both ends, Thiam contributed 26 blocks, 21 steals, and 18 assists, while hitting 62.6 percent of his free throws. He recorded three double-doubles, highlighted by a 36-point, 14-rebound performance against Valdosta, and notched four 20-plus point games along with 13 double-digit scoring efforts.
COLBY WILLIAMS
Junior | Forward | Computer Science | 3.87 GPA
Williams was a key contributor for the Warhawks this season, appearing in 21 games with 20 starts. He ranked third on the team in scoring with 229 points (10.9 per game) and second in rebounding with 124 boards (5.9 per game). Williams connected on 82 field goals at a 48.8 percent clip and shot 73.3 percent from the free throw line. He also added 20 assists, 18 steals, and nine blocks, consistently making an impact on both ends of the floor.
JAMARIOUS MARTIN
Junior | Guard | Kinesiology | 3.53
Martin was a steady leader for the Warhawks, appearing in 28 games with 27 starts and leading the team with 30.5 minutes per game. He paced the team with 88 assists and 25 steals while adding 221 points (7.9 per game) on 84 field goals, including 25 three-pointers, and shot 84.8% from the free throw line. Martin also contributed 80 rebounds, making an impact on both ends of the floor as a true all-around performer.
