MOBILE, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team will travel to Mobile, Ala., on Wednesday evening to take on Spring Hill College in non-conference play at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on the campus of the Badgers.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are currently 4-4 on the season and are coming off of a 66-61 victory over Gulf South Conference foe Shorter on Saturday, Dec. 2. The victory over the Hawks was the first GSC win in program history for AUM.
Three players are averaging double-digit points for the Warhawks, with junior guard
Desmond DeRamus leading the way with a 16.9 points per game average. The former Jefferson Davis High School standout also leads the team in rebounds (36), assists (32) and steals (19).
Sophomore guard
Darrion Taylor is second on the team in points averaging 10.8 ppg, and is also second in assists with 20. Taylor leads the team in 3-pointers, connecting on 20-of-48 attempts on the season. Senior forward
Lafayette James-Core is third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.1 ppg.
This will be the first meeting between the two schools since the 2013-14 season when both schools were members of the Southern States Athletic Conference. AUM earned a 76-58 victory over the Badgers on Jan. 10 of that season.
About the Badgers
SHC is currently 2-6 on the season and are coming off of a 91-59 setback to GSC foe and No. 25 ranked West Florida this past Sunday. The Badgers have lost five in a row after starting the season 2-1, and 1-1 in home games this season.
Junior forward Brandon Fischer leads the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 ppg. Fischer recorded a double-double against Tuskegee University on Dec. 2, tallying 16 points and 13 rebounds against the Golden Tigers. Senior swing player Walter Massey leads the team in rebounds, averaging 5.8 per contest while junior guard Dwight Harris leads the team in assists with 17.

The Warhawks will host GSC foe Delta State on Saturday at the AUM Gymnasium as part of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader. The two women's teams will play at 2 p.m. followed by the men at 4 p.m. The game is also a part of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Association Toy Drive and fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to the cause.
