Junior guards Desmond DeRamus and Kenneth Keith tallied 20 points apiece for the Warhawks in the setback, with senior guard Reagan Eubanks adding 14 to AUM's total.

DeRamus now sits at 985 points for his career and needs only 15 points to become the first Warhawk to hit the 1,000-point plateau since Nathan Thomas (1,090) did it in 2010. He also leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 15.6 points per game, with Eubanks averaging 14.9 ppg for AUM.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, with AUM earning a 68-66 victory over the Golden Tigers on Nov. 22. Junior guard Marcus Jackson converted a pair of free throws in the closing moments to give AUM its first home victory of the season. Sophomore guard Darrion Taylor led the team in scoring with 13 points while adding three assists.

AUM is 10-2 lifetime against the Golden Tigers, with each team gaining a victory since the Warhawks moved to the NCAA Division II level. The two teams first met during the 1976-77 season, a 90-67 victory for AUM.
