MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery baseball team plays its home opener on Friday, Feb. 9 in a doubleheader against NAIA Preseason No. 13 Tennessee Wesleyan, starting at 11 a.m. The two games were originally scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. the following day, but were changed due to potential weather.

Tennessee Wesleyan (2-2) heads into the doubleheader after overpowering the University of the Cumberlands 16-4 on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The Bulldogs are hitting .286 (34-119) as a team with a .454 slugging percentage coming from 11 doubles and three home runs while tallying 24 RBI. Tyler Halas leads TWC with a .385 batting average, a .467 on base percentage and .538 slugging percentage while tying for the team-lead in hits, RBI and doubles with marks five, four, three and two, respectively. Braden Mosley and Dakota Phillips both have three drawn three walks with a pair of doubles while Adrian Gonzalez has five hits with four runs scored.
