About the Warhawks
AUM (11-12, 4-8 GSC) hosts the Lions after a 3-1 week at the AUM Baseball Complex, including the Warhawks' second-consecutive Gulf South Conference Series win after besting Valdosta State University in back-to-back games via 4-3 and 6-4 scores on Thursday, March 15 and Friday, March 16 before a 2-5 setback in the three-game series finale.
Offensively, Auburn Montgomery is hitting .256 (183-716) with a .365 slugging percentage off the strength of 29 doubles, two triple and 15 home runs while posting 99 walks and 84 RBI. Sophomore infielder

Garrett Deloney, while also leading the team with 36 strikeouts and four victories. Freshman righty
Sam Steigert makes a team-best 11 mound appearances with a team-low ERA of 1.80 and two saves while matching Langley for the lowest opposing batting average at .212.
In a home-and-home series against North Alabama last season, which AUM swept 9-8, 7-1, Johnson went .444 at the plate with multiple hits in both contests while Scott got the victory in the road leg after holding the Lions off the scoreboard over 5.0 innings.

North Alabama (15-10, 8-4 GSC) treks to Montgomery after the a 1-2 weekend at Montevallo, falling to the Falcons 10-5 and 4-3 in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 17 with a 14-1 Gulf South Conference series finale victory on Sunday, March 18.
The Lions are hitting .271 (216-796) as a team with a .393 slugging percentage coming from 33 doubles, five triples and 18 home runs while tallying 133 RBI and 125 walks. Channing Wall makes a team-leading nine mound appearances, all in relief, while Tyler Joyner logs a team-high 49.2 innings with 48 strikeouts in seven starts with four victories, tied with Lane Wallace and Shane Priest for the most starts and wins. Josh Stillman holds opponents to a team-low .175 batting average with a team-best 2.37 ERA.
