MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery baseball team returns to Gulf South Conference play on Friday, March 30, when the Warhawks travel to Montevallo, Ala. to begin a three-game series against the University of Montevallo starting at 6 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled for the following day starting at 1 p.m.

AUM (13-17, 4-11 GSC) heads into the weekend series after a 2-1 midweek slate, capped off with a 3-2, 5-3 doubleheader sweep of Talladega College on Wednesday, March 28.

Garrett Deloney, to go with a team-leading four victories. Deloney fans a team-best 41 batters while Langley holds a team-low 1.66 ERA and freshman righty
Sam Steigert limits opponents to a .230 batting average over a team-high 14 mound appearances with three saves.
In a three-game series against the Falcons last season, which AUM won two of, senior outfielder
Tanner Russell recorded four RBI with Langley drawing four walks and scoring four runs while Deloney earned a win after logging 6.2 innings with two runs allowed, one earned, and five strikeouts.

Montevallo, (22-11, 9-6 GSC) who is receiving votes in the most recent Collegiate Baseball Division II poll, returns to their home field after a midweek doubleheader at Mississippi College, besting the Choctaws 8-7 in the first game of the non-conference twinbill before a 4-3 setback in the second tilt.
The Falcons are hitting .300 (301-1002) as a team with a .460 slugging percentage coming from 58 doubles, 12 triples and 26 home runs while tallying 189 RBI and 128 walks. Leads UM with a .383 batting average and nine doubles, tied with Collin Dupree for the team lead, while Caleb Ledbetter boasts three triples, six home runs, 29 RBI and 29 runs scored. Jason Cryar draws a team-high 26 walks.
On the mound, Montevallo has a team ERA of 3.69 with 284 strikeouts and 109 walks in 256.0 innings.
