MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery baseball team begins a season-long eight-game homestand on Friday, Mar. 9 when the Warhawks kick off a three-game, Gulf South Conference series against the University of West Alabama. Originally scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., first pitch has been pushed up to 5 p.m. due to potential weather, with Saturday's doubleheader now starting at 11 a.m.

AUM (6-10, 0-6 GSC) returns to the AUM Baseball Complex after falling at Columbus State, who's currently receiving in the latest NCBWA national poll, 7-0 on Wednesday, Mar. 7.
Offensively, Auburn Montgomery is hitting .249 (125-503) with a .362 slugging percentage off the strength of 23 doubles, two triple and 10 home runs while posting 61 walks and 54 RBI. Sophomore infielder

In a home-and-home series against UWA last year, with both sides winning on their field, Langley hit .500 while matching senior outfielder
Donovan Chandler with three hits over the two games. Deloney got the start in the second leg of the series, earning the victory after allowing four runs, two earned, off six hits in 5.1 innings with six strikeouts.

West Alabama (6-11, 3-3 GSC) makes the trip to Montgomery after a 12-0 victory at Spring Hill College on Wednesday, Mar. 7.
The Tigers are hitting .234 (123-525) as a team with a .305 slugging percentage coming from 23 doubles, one triples and four home runs while tallying 59 RBI and 48 walks. Ben Dalke leads UWA with a .279 batting average, 13 runs scored, two home runs and a .459 slugging percentage while matching Joel Murphy with 10 RBI and Austin Moffett with five doubles. Moffett has the Tigers' lone triple and Brock Montgomery draws a team-leading nine walks.
On the mound, West Alabama has a team ERA of 4.77 with 160 strikeouts and 100 walks in 137.2 innings.
