About the Warhawks
The 2019-20 season will be the first full season of NCAA DII eligibility. The Orange & Black will be eligible to win weekly awards from the Gulf South Conference, as well as compete in NCAA postseason events.

The Warhawks will be returning eight players from last season's squad, including Jordan Brewster, who led the league in total three pointers, three pointers per game, and total minutes in the Gulf South Conference.

Victoria Morales returns as one of the Warhawks' leading rebounders. Morales finished the season with 215 total boards, which tied her for the team lead in the category. The Oviedo, Fla. native unofficially led the GSC in both total blocks (47) and blocks per game (1.68).

Newcomers Catlin Carter and Alexia Wallace were named to the Gulf South Conference's top newcomer list. Carter comes to AUM from Snead State Community College, where she recorded 823 points in her junior college career.

Wallace, meanwhile, played her high school basketball at Chapel Hill High School. The Douglasville, Ga. native netted over 1000 points in her high school career and was named to Chapel Hill's Hall of Fame.

AUM opens the season with three consecutive road games before playing their home opener on Nov. 13 against Southern Wesleyan University. The Warhawks will kick off conference play on Nov. 23 with a home match against the defending GSC champion Lee Lady Flames.

The Warhawks will play their second exhibition contest against an NCAA DI school on December 4 when they travel to Troy to take on the Trojans at Trojan Arena.

The Orange & Black will open the new year with two road matches against GSC opponents West Alabama and Montevallo before returning home on January 7 to play SIAC school Lemoyne-Owen College.

The end of the Orange & Black's season will feature the Warhawks playing three of their last four games at the AUM Gymnasium, all against Gulf South Conference foes. AUM will host Christian Brothers and Delta State on February 20 and 22, before going on the road to play West Georgia on Feb. 27.

The final game of the season will be played against Valdosta State for the second-straight year. The game with the Lady Blazers is slated for Feb. 29 and will feature a ceremony honoring the team's six seniors.

About the Golden Tigers
Tuskegee is coming off an impressive 2018-19 campaign where they netted 20 wins on the season and won 14 of those games at home. Last season at the GSC/SIAC Crossover Challenge, Tuskegee went 1-1 with a victory over AUM and a loss to Gulf South Conference foe Montevallo.

Despite the Golden Tigers' impressive regular season, TU fell to Kentucky State University in the second round of the 2019 SIAC Conference Tournament, and the Thorobreds consequently ended the Golden Tigers season.

About the Lady Panthers
The Lady Panthers are coming off a season where they tallied just seven wins throughout the entire 2018-19 schedule. Clark Atlanta tallied six of their seven wins on their home court and went a combined 1-16 in games played away from Atlanta.

The Lady Panthers matchup with the Warhawks will be the first meeting between the two programs since the Warhawks initiated the transition process from NAIA to NCAA DII status.
