MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sophomore
Michaelyn Foster tied the school record for home runs in with two in game one while senior pitcher
Natalie Johnsey recorded her first no-hitter wearing the Orange & Black in game two as the Auburn University at Montgomery softball team swept a doubleheader with Gulf South Conference foe Christian Brothers on Saturday afternoon, taking the first contest 11-0 in five innings and winning game two 7-0.
NOTES
- AUM improves to 39-11 on the year overall with a 17-9 mark in GSC play.
- CBU drops to 10-36 with a 1-24 record in league contests.
- The Warhawks improve to 9-0 against the Buccaneers lifetime.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Johnsey recorded a career-high seven strikeouts en route to her first no-hitter as a Warhawk. Johnsey only allowed a walk and a hit by pitch over the course of seven innings.

Michaelyn Foster belted two home runs in game one, finishing the day going 3-for-7 at the plate with five runs batted in and three runs scored. Foster also recorded a stolen base and pitched a shutout inning of relief.

Parker Pinholster was 3-for-3 at the plate with five runs scored, three stolen bases and two RBI with three walks.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
- AUM took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first when Foster smacked her first home run of the day with runners at second and third.
- The Warhawks went up 4-0 after
Olivia Aycock singled to first to plate
Gracie Harris from third in the top of the second.

Parker Pinholster lead off the frame with a single, steal second, advance to third on a single to left by
Jaycie Walker and then scored on a double steal attempt that saw Walker get thrown out at second as Pinhoslter crossed home.
- AUM scored five runs in the top of the fourth, highlighted by a two-run home to left and a Walker solo homer to right-center to push the visitors' lead to 10-0.
- The Warhawks would load the bases in the top of the fifth and scored their 11th run of the game when Pinholster was hit by a pitch to push the lead to 11-0.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE – GAME ONE
- The Warhawks scored 11 runs on 13 hits with no errors.
- The Bucs were held scoreless on three hits with one error.

Savanna Holmes picked up the win to improve to 6-2 on the season, allowing only one hit while striking out three.
- Siearra Anderson was credited with the loss for CBU, allowing nine runs on 11 hits over 3.2 innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
- Game two saw the Warhawks strike in the first once again, scoring when
Morgan Duschell singled with the bases loaded to score Pinholster from third.
Caroline Burns and
Hannah Dailey were each hit by a pitch to score another two runs before
Gracie Harris drew a walk to score another. After the top of the first AUM led 4-0.
- Duschell picked up another RBI in the top of the second when she grounded out to the pitcher to score Pinholster from third to put the visitors up 5-0.

Kendall Tucker notched her first RBI of the day when she tripled to right in the top of the fourth to score Duschell and push the AUM advantage to six runs.
- Foster recorded her fifth RBI of the day in the seventh when she singled through left side of the infield to score Pinholster from second and give the Orange & Black a 7-0 lead.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE – GAME TWO
- AUM scored seven runs on eight hits with one error.
- CBU was held scoreless with no hits and no errors.
- Macy Cumming took the loss to fall to 3-5 on the season, allowing four runs on one hit in two-thirds of an inning.
- Johnsey improved to 6-2 with the victory.
