2022 UAH CHARGERS INVITATIONAL
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's cross country team got a season-best time from
Austin Atkinson and a host of other personal bests in a 30th-place team finish at the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers Invite.
Atkinson led the Warhawks with a time of 26:00.10, which is a season-best for the senior.

SCORING FIVE
- Atkinson raced to a 26:00.10 finish, good for 146th place overall in a field of 486 competitors.
- Thomas Wolfe's 26:26.00 (239th overall) was good for second on the team.
- Brady Thomas turned in a time of 26:26.50 (240th overall), which placed third on the squad.
- Patrick Pigg finished as AUM's fourth finisher, one place behind his teammate Thomas, with a 26:26.90.
- Jonathan Jenkins (248th overall) rounded out the Warhawks' scoring five with a time of 26:30.70.
NOTABLES
- Atkinson's time was his season-best for the Warhawks.
- Thomas' 26:26.50 was his personal best for AUM.
- Pigg also added a personal best time in the competitive field.
- Jenkins 26:30.70 was also his personal best.
- The Warhawks once again raced well as a pack, as the team's top five cross the finish line within 30 seconds of each other.
- Connor Stoots, Drake Patton, Hays Colvin, Sam Leslie, Brandon McKee, and Parker Draughon also all ran a personal best time for the Warhawks.
