Galloway, Luther, and Willingham-King Named Participants For 2022 NCAA Career in Sports Forum

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Mario Galloway of the AUM Baseball Team, Nicole Luther of the Women's Cross Country Team, and Tamia Willingham-King of the Women's Basketball Team have all been chosen as participants for the 2022 NCAA Career in Sports Forum from June 2-5, 2022 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational program that brings together 200 selected NCAA student-athletes to learn about and explore potential careers in sports, particularly college athletics. This unique three-day forum helps student-athletes chart their career paths. Participants network with and learn from current athletics professionals.

The forum allows attendees to network with peers and decision-makers at the campus, conference and national level of college athletics.

"I'm blessed to have the opportunity to participate in the 2022 NCAA Career in Sports Forum this summer," Galloway said. "I aspire to be a head baseball coach and athletic director so I can have a positive impact on other kids' lives through sports the way my life has been impacted. I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible at the forum."

"To be one of the 200 student-athletes selected for the career in sports forum means the world to me," Luther said. "I feel my time in Indianapolis will help me gain knowledge, perspective, and connections that will help me in my future career. Within my future career, I hope to take on the role of athletic administration to help give back to student-athletes and guide them through their college experience."

"It's a blessing to be one of the 200 NCAA student-athletes selected for the NCAA Career in Sports Forum," Willingham King said. "As I begin my journey within athletic administration and work towards becoming an athletic director, this event will provide insight from some of the best administrators in the country. Graduating from an HBCU and interning within the athletic department have helped prepare me for this event. I am extremely thankful for this opportunity."
