2023 UNITED SOCCER COACHES SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICANS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer player William Blake was named a Second Team Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. 

Blake, a Mobile, Alabama native, garnered First Team All-Gulf South Conference honors, D2 CCA First Team All-Region honors, Second Team All-South Region honor by the United Soccer Coaches, and now earns a place on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Second Team.

An entrepreneurship major with a 3.78 GPA, Blake led the conference in goals against average (.723) and save percentage (.823). The 6-foot-4 senior led the South Region in save percentage and ranked second in the region in goals against average. Blake also ranks Top 25 in NCAA Division II in save percentage (13th), goals against average (16th), and shutouts (25th).

Blake helped AUM to its third consecutive GSC semifinal game and helped lead a defense that held opponents to one goal or less in 15 of its 17 matches on the season.
