MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Sophomore forward Benjamin Hoffmann of the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's soccer team has been named Warhawk of the Week as announced by the AUM Athletics Department on Wednesday afternoon.
 
HOFFMANN ON THE HUNT
Hoffmann led the Warhawks to a 4-0 Gulf South Conference victory over the Montevallo Falcons last week to improve AUM's post-season chances late in the year. His 66^th minute goal, assisted by Robiston Lukau, surged the Warhawks ahead 2-0 and heightened the momentum that helped Noah Fernandes and Alan De Paula each find the back of the next over the next 14 minutes. Along with the sophomore's team-high seventh goal of the season, he etched a full 90 minutes of action with four shots on goal.
 
SOPHOMORE SEASON
In his second year with AUM, Hoffmann leads the Warhawks with seven goals and 16 points. He has competed in all 12 of the team's contests this season and looks to continue his efforts as AUM wraps up their regular season slate with four more matches.



UP NEXT
Hoffmann and the Warhawks return to action on Friday, Oct. 24 with a trip to Jackson, Tenn. where they will face the Union Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. in another GSC battle.
