MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Sophomore guard
Tamora Brown of the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's basketball team has been named Warhawk of the Week as announced by the AUM Athletics Department on Thursday afternoon.
BIG-TIME BROWN
Over three games last week, Brown powered the Warhawks with 47 points and 21 rebounds while shooting 33.3 percent from the field. She was a force at the line, converting 21-of-28 free throws (75 percent), and added five steals and two blocks to round out a strong stretch of play. Her best outing came against Trevecca Nazarene, where she poured in 22 points on an efficient 46.7 percent clip (7-of-15), pulled down five boards, and stuffed the stat sheet with four steals and two blocks.
TAMORA'S TOTALS
Through eight games this season, Brown has been a steady force for the Warhawks, appearing in every contest and earning six starts. She has tallied 98 points (12.3 per game) while shooting 73.8 percent at the free-throw line (45-of-61). On the glass, Brown has pulled down 41 rebounds (5.1 per game), including 10 on the offensive end, and has added nine assists, 13 steals, and two blocks to round out her all-around impact. Consistent, physical, and reliable, Brown continues to anchor AUM on both ends of the floor.

Brown and the Warhawks will face Mississippi College at the AUM Athletics Complex on Thursday, Dec. 11 with a 5:30 p.m. tip.
