MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Each week, the Auburn University at Montgomery Office of Athletics Communications previews the upcoming week with “This Week in AUM Athletics.” We've got baseball and softball hosting a home conference series with Christian Brothers this weekend, while men's and women's tennis is on the road.

  • AUM baseball sits at 7-15 on the year and 4-8 in conference play.
  • They will host Columbus State for a Tuesday midweek game with first pitch set for 3 p.m. CT.
  • This weekend, AUM will host Christian Brothers for a three-game GSC series. 
  • The Warhawks were selected fourth in the GSC preseason poll.
  • Zach Dew and Ryan Slaten Slaten were selected to the preseason All-GSC team.
  • In addition to the 14 returners, AUM also welcome 25 newcomers for the 2025 campaign.
  • CBU is 6-14 on the year and just 1-11 in conference play.
  • AUM softball is 15-6 on the year and 8-4 in conference play.
  • Ranked #2 nationally in NFCA top-25, New Poll announced Mar. 11 at NFCA.org
  • The Warhawks were selected third in the GSC preseason poll with four first-place votes.
  • AUM will host Christian Brothers this weekend with the series opener at 3 pm on Friday.
  • CBU is 8-13 overall and 2-10 in league play this season.
  • Chelsea Newsome tossed the 18th no-hitter in program history against Trevecca.
  • AUM men's and women's tennis will play Dillard on Thursday at Noon.
  • The Warhawks men's team is 3-4 on the year and 1-0 in conference. 
  • The women's team is 4-3 on the year and ranked in the top-20 in the ITA national polls.
  • This weekend, both teams will face Augusta on Saturday at Noon.
