HOW IT HAPPENED
Game One; AUM 7; CBU 6
In the first inning, the Bucs started hot, jumping out to a 3-0 lead off Warhawks starter Huston Wynn. AUM was held scoreless in the first two innings, but began chipping away in the top of the third.
Brice Ainsworth scored on a ball to left field, and after stealing second, Kurt Kizer came around to score on a hit by Luke Turner, narrowing the deficit to 3‑2. Turner's hit marked his 15th RBI of the season.
In the top of the fourth, Anderson Harris lined a stand-up double to bring home Tucker Burns and Christopher McNeill, giving AUM their first lead at 4‑3. With two outs, Ainsworth scored Harris from third on a ball to right field, extending the Warhawks' advantage to 5‑3.
Both teams remained scoreless in the fifth inning. In the seventh, AUM added to the lead when Burns' ball up the middle allowed Ainsworth to score, making it 6‑3. The Bucs rallied in the bottom of the seventh, putting together a two-out hit that scored two runs to tie the game at 6‑6, sending the matchup into extra innings.
After a scoreless 10th, AUM broke through in the top of the 11th. Harris drew a walk to lead off and advanced to second on a misplayed throw. Andrew Lutz hit a ground ball to move Harris to third, followed by a walk to Cannon Miller.
On a 0‑0 count, a wild pitch brought Harris home, giving the Warhawks a 7‑6 lead. In the bottom of the 11th, the game ended on a double play with a strikeout and a runner caught stealing third, securing the 7-6 victory for the Warhawks.

After putting runners in scoring position, Will Passeau lifted a sacrifice fly to center field that brought home Brice Ainsworth to give the Warhawks an early 1–0 lead. The Buccaneers immediately answered, knotting the game up at 1-1, with a single to center field.
The Warhawks threatened again throughout the middle innings, collecting hits from Christopher McNeill, Luke Turner, and Tucker Burns, but the score remained unchanged as starting pitcher, Drew Cashin, kept the Buccaneers in check on the mound, working efficiently through the lineup

Later in the inning, John Kiebler added an RBI single to bring home Casen Heaps, pushing the Warhawk advantage to 4–1.
