MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced its 2026 men's tennis annual awards, featuring Auburn University at Montgomery standouts, senior Giuseppe Bonaiuti and sophomore Jami Savolainen.

After earning First Team All-GSC honors last season, Bonaiuti was named to the Second Team this year and was joined by teammate Savolainen in receiving Second Team All-GSC recognition.

Bonaiuti emerged as a key competitor for the Warhawks this season, earning consistent national recognition in singles. The senior climbed as high as No. 54 in the ITA rankings and remained inside the top 75 throughout the year.

In singles, Bonaiuti finished 6-9 overall with a 3-5 record in conference matches, competing exclusively at the No. 1 position. He delivered a standout performance against No. 17 Mississippi College's Mattia Ricci, ranked No. 64 at the time, earning a 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 win. The result helped secure a narrow 4-3 victory over the nationally ranked Choctaws.
