Louisville, Ky. – The Auburn Montgomery men's cross country team posted a 34th-place finish at the Live in Lou Classic on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The Warhawks posted an average team time of 27:00 in the men's 8K blue race consisting of 62 total teams.
Results
- Andrew Mingus paced the Warhawks with a time of 26:40.40, a personal record, to finish 148th.
- Austin Atkinson posted a time of 26:54.40 to finish 175th.
- Thomas Wolfe posted a time of 27:05.20 to finish 195th.
- Patrick Pigg recorded a time of 27:08.20, a personal record, to finish 199th.
- Chance Cofield posted a time of 27:12.20 to finish 221st
- Brady Thomas posted a time of 27:17.30, a personal record, to finish 222nd.
- Drake Patton posted a time of 27:29.00, a personal record, to finish 249th.
- Jonathan Jenkins posted a time of 27:32.00 to finish 255th.
- Connor Stoots posted a time of 28:18.50 to finish 344th.
Grand Valley State finished first among teams while Gidion Sigei of Lincoln Memorial finished first among individuals with a time of 24:03.20.
The men's cross country team will race in their final regular-season meet of 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the UAH Charger Invite in Huntsville, Ala. Race time is slated for 7:30 a.m. (CST).
