TEMPE, Ariz. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team will have a new national ranking before heading into this weekend's Gulf South Conference tournament as the Warhawks have moved up three spots to No. 16.
After receiving their first-ever ranking last week, AUM has climbed higher to 16
th in the country after going 1-1 in their road trip through Mississippi. The Warhawks fell to now-No. 10 Delta State and defeated Mississippi College.
With a 6-3 record inside GSC action, the Warhawks will open the GSC tournament as the fourth seed and will face West Alabama in the first round. The match from Lagoon Park in Montgomery is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
