Austin Atkinson Named Warhawk of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Austin Atkinson of the Auburn University at Montgomery cross country team has been named Warhawk of the Week based on his performance at the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers Invite.

The Trussville, Alabama native led the way for the Warhawks with a time of 26:00.10 which is a season best for the senior. He finished 146^th place overall in the field of 486 runners.

The Warhawk of the Week award is a weekly honor on AUMathletics.com that is presented to one male or female student-athlete for their athletic achievements from the previous week.

The Warhawks cross country team returns to action on Nov. 5 at the Gulf South Conference Championship in Montevallo, Alabama.
