WEEK 5 REGIONAL RANKINGS
NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's cross country team remained seventh in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region Poll, as released by the coaches association in week five of the season.
The Warhawks raced to a team seventh-place finish out of the 30 teams at the Queens University of Charlotte Royals Challenge in Charlotte, N.C.
Basil Koech covered the 8K course in 25:23.47, which marked the eighth-fastest time in school history. He also placed 25th in a field of 275 runners.
The race marked the third Top-10 finish as a team at a meet this season for AUM.
The Warhawks now prep for the Gulf South Conference Championships on October 21 at 8:30 a.m. at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala.
