JACKSON, Tenn. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team is off to a 5-3 start and 3-1 in Gulf South Conference games, which has lead them to receiving votes in the Division II College Sports Communicators South Region Poll.
The Warhawks have won three GSC games in a row after taking down The University of Alabama in Huntsville, University of West Alabama, and Shorter University.
Allasha Dudley is coming off of a 29 point performance against the Hawks and is averaging 18 points per game which ranks second in the GSC. Dudley is averaging 3.4 rebounds per game.
Danielle Luckey,
Jamya Tyus, and
Tian Addison are averaging double-digits as well. Luckey is scoring 10 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per game. Tyus scores 12 points per game and Addison is at 12.3.
Senior
Kamya Hollingshed is getting into a rhythm scoring double-digits in three of her last four games. She is shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc, which ranks best in the GSC.
AUM is set to take on Delta State University on Friday, December 8 at 5:30 p.m. in Walter Sillers Coliseum in Cleveland, Mississippi.
