OBERWART, Austria -- Former Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball player James Graham has signed a professional contract to play for the Unger Steel Oberwart Gunners.

Oberwart went 19-13 in the second half of last season and finished third in the Österreichische Basketball Bundesliga. The Gunners franchise secured Austrian Cup titles in 2011 and 2016, and was an Austrian Supercup Finalist in 2022.

A Maywood, Ill. native, Graham helped the Warhawks to the school's second-ever postseason berth as an NCAA Division II member as the sixth seed in the Gulf South Conference tournament. Graham played in 29 games and started 23 times in his final collegiate campaign.

Graham averaged 12.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 56 percent from the floor. He ranked third in the GSC in rebounds per game, third in defensive rebounds per game (5.6), seventh in offensive rebounds per game (2.3), second in field goal percentage, first in blocks (59), and first in blocks per game.

The 6-foot-7 forward finished his AUM career ranked third all-time in blocked shots with 127, and also is tied for ninth in school history in career rebounding average (7.2).

Graham went for double-digit points 20 times this season, including a pair of 20-point games. Graham also blocked three or more shots in 10 different games, including five contests in which he blocked five or more shots.
