MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- For the first time in school history, the Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team is set to make an appearance in the NCAA South Region tournament. 

The Warhawks, fresh off the most successful season for the team since joining the ranks of NCAA Division II as a full-time member ahead of the 2019-2020 season, are seeking the team's first NCAA South Region tournament win. 

AUM has accumulated numerous accolades this season under first-year head coach Franklin Bush. The Warhawks already have a school record for wins in the Division II era (31) and conference wins in a season (20). Bush was named the GSC Coach of the Year, while Zach Dew (First Team), Cooper Doughman (Second Team), and Ryan Slaten (Second Team) were each named to the all-league team.

Earlier today, it was also announced that Dew earned Second Team All-South Region honors from the NCBWA. The Warhawks have also achieved the program's highest NCBWA South Region ranking (No. 4), the highest ABCA national ranking (No. 21), and have received votes in the NCBWA national poll on multiple occasions this season for the first time in school history at the NCAA Division II level.

WARHAWKS IN THE POLLS

• The Warhawks were ranked as the No. 5 seed in the South Region during the NCAA Selection Show.
• AUM finished at No. 6 in the final NCBWA South Region rankings.
• The Warhawks are receiving votes in the ABCA national rankings.

'TICKETS, GET YOUR TICKETS!'

• Tickets may be purchased at the gate. The ticket gate will open 60 minutes before the first game of each day. Admission for each day of the tournament is as follows: Adults ($10), Children under 12 ($5) and children under 2 (Free). Tickets are available via cash or credit card at the main entrance.

WHERE DO I PARK?

• Parking is free at the Delaware Parking Garage and the West Parking Garage. The Delaware garage is located between the Naimoli Softball Field and Naimoli Lacrosse Field, while the West garage is located north of the field. For the campus map of the University of Tampa, please click here.

THE FIELD

• The University of Tampa is the top overall seed in the tournament. The Spartans are ranked as the No. 1 team in the country in the NCBWA and ABCA national polls.
• Lee University won the 2024 GSC regular season championship. The Flames the tournament with a 37-16 record. 
• Savannah State University earned the automatic bid to the tournament out of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). The Tigers are 31-15 overall.
