MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn University at Montgomery Head Baseball Coach
Franklin Bush will resign from his position at the conclusion of the 2026 season, announced Director of Athletics
Erik Maas.
After three years at the helm of the AUM Baseball program, Bush has decided to step away and pursue new opportunities at the end of the season.
"We appreciate Coach Bush's efforts and commitment to our program during his time at AUM," said Maas. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
Bush arrived in the Capitol City ahead of the 2024 season and led the Warhawks to their first NCAA South Region appearance in program history, then was subsequently named the Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year.
AUM will close out the season on the road in a series against Montevallo, April 24-25.
A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
