MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Five top-10 individual finishes helped propel the Auburn Montgomery men's cross country team to a second-place finish at the Falcon Classic on Friday, Sept. 17.
The Warhawks posted an average time of 27:27 in the 8K, finishing above seven of the other competing school in the meet.
Results
- Thomas Wolfe paced the Warhawks, finishing fifth with a time of 27:15.64
- Chance Cofield finished sixth, with a time of 27:19.33.
- Patrick Pigg finished eighth with a time of 27:28.56, a personal record.
- Jonathan Jenkins finished ninth with a time of 27:36.05 in his Warhawk debut.
- Andrew Mingus rounded out the top 10, posting a time of 27:39.75
- Brady Thomas posted a time of 27:41.53 to finish 11th, a personal record.
- Drake Patton finished 13th with a time of 27:46.15, a personal record.
- Austin Atkinson finished 15th with a time of 27:57.12
- Hamza Abusammour finished 17th with a time of 28:05.64, a personal record.
- Sam Leslie finished 21st with a time of 28:13.68, a personal record.
- Connor Stoots finished 22nd with a time of 28:17.02, a personal record.
- Jay Hughes finished 32nd with a time of 29:25.34
- Hayes Colvin finished 33rd with a time of 29:33.88, a personal record.
Montevallo took home first-place team honors while Falcon runner Joseph Leventry finished first among individuals with a time of 25:45.40.
