Cecilia Hincapie, a NAIA First-Team All-American during each of her three seasons, helped the AUM women’s tennis team to a 47-9 record and a pair of national runner-up finishes from 1996-98. As a freshman, the Manizales, Columbia native captured six singles victories in the NAIA Singles Championship en route to an individual runner-up finish, earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. She was an All-America selection by the NAIA and also garnered Singles All-America honors by the ITA following her sophomore campaign. Hincapie won the ITA Fall Super Bowl Championship in singles and doubles as a junior and concluded her career by winning the NAIA Doubles Championship at the national tournament in 1998.
