Nicolas Pinones-Haltenhoff was a four-time First-Team NAIA and ITA Singles All-American, as well as a three-time Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the men's tennis program. During his career, he posted an 81-11 singles record and an 80-16 doubles record, while helping the Warhawks to an 83-22 record and four NAIA National Tournament appearances. A native of Barcelona, Spain, Pinones-Haltenhoff finished in the Top-10 of the final NAIA singles rankings all four seasons, including his sophomore season when he earned the No. 1 singles ranking and was selected to the ITA All-Star Team. In singles play, he posted a career record of 31-8 against nationally-ranked opponents and was selected the 2015 Senior Player of the Year in the South Region and the 2012 NAIA Rookie of the Year by the ITA. Academically, Pinones-Haltenhoff was a standout, earning Capital One Academic All-America of the Year accolades in 2013 and 2015. He was also voted to the Capital One Academic All-America squad his final three seasons and captured NAIA Scholar Athlete honors as a junior and senior. He was also named the SSAC Male Honor Student from AUM in 2014 and 2015.
