Hall of Fame
The first head coach in the history of the Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball program, Colby Tilley enjoyed a stellar coaching career with the Lady Senators. In his nine seasons, Tilley recorded a 218-74 overall record and led the Lady Senators to six NAIA national tournaments. He guided the inaugural AUM women's basketball team to the national tournament, while also leading the team to a Sweet 16, an Elite 8 and one Final Four appearance during his tenure. Tilley helped the Lady Senators to consecutive 34-win seasons in 1993-94 and 1994-95, a two-year span that has been unmatched at the time of his induction. With Tilley at the helm, the women's basketball program captured five conference or district championships and six student-athletes earned All-America honors. At the time of his entrance into the AUM Hall of Fame, Tilley ranked second on the school's all-time victory list.
