A four-year letterwinner for the baseball program from 1999-2002, Jeff Hawkins led the Senators to a 190-69-1 record and four NAIA Regional appearances during his career. Hawkins earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-American and All-Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference honors as a junior, after finishing 11-2, with a 3.72 earned run average. He followed with a 10-5 mark with a 1.26 ERA as a senior. At the time of his selection, Hawkins held the school record for pitching victories with 30, five more than second on the list, and his senior-season earned run average was the second lowest in school history. For his career, Hawkins finished with a 30-7 record, 2.90 ERA and 174 strikeouts. His strikeout total ranked sixth in program history, while his earned run average ranked 10th. Following his collegiate career, he pitched one season for the Montgomery Wings of the Southeastern League.
