Hall of Fame
Darold Dunlavy was the first men's tennis coach at Auburn University at Montgomery. Dunlavy led the Senators to 13 NAIA District 27 Championships, as well as 12 NAIA National Tournaments. He then led the team to the NAIA National Championship in 1987, becoming the first men's team in the state of Alabama to win a national championship. That season, he was awarded the NAIA National Coach of the Year Award. He then led the Senators to two NAIA National Runner-Up finishes in 1989 and 1993. He coached 29 NAIA All-Americans in his 17 years of service at AUM. In 1997, Dunlavy was inducted into the NAIA National Tennis Hall of Fame.
