Hall of Fame
Jack Doane was the first member of the Auburn University at Montgomery Athletics Hall of Fame to be inducted for meritorious service. He served as president of the AUM Senators Athletic Club from 1987-91. In 1988, he became the AUM Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement, helping cultivate development for a five year span. He has continued to coordinate athletic fundraising projects and was instrumental in the establishment of a full-time Athletic Director at AUM, where he was a member of the initial search committee. Doane was a supporter of AUM athletics physically, emotionally and financially for more than 30 years.
