James VanDyne set a new benchmark for Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer, as he was the first player in the program's history to earn All-America honors in three seasons during his career. VanDyne, who was also a first-team all-conference and all-region performer his final three seasons, was a third-team All-American as a sophomore and senior, while garnering second-team honors following his junior season. In addition, he was the starting goalkeeper on two NAIA national tournament teams that advanced to the championship match. At the time of his induction, VanDyne held the Senators' career-record for shutouts (26.5), goalkeeper minutes played (7,483) and matches played by a keeper (64), while ranking fourth in saves with 254.
