Sescioreanu, originally from Timisora, Romania, enjoyed a stellar two-year career with the women’s tennis program, earning a pair of NAIA National Championships and helping the team to a 56-3 record during her tenure. She was selected to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-Star team both seasons after finishing as the NAIA’s top-ranked singles player in the nation. In her first season with the team, she won the Fall Super Bowl Championship in singles and partnered with Tereza Veverkova to win the doubles crown. She was a two-time NAIA First-Team All-American and NAIA Scholar-Athlete, recording a career record of 34-3 in singles and 48-4 in doubles. Following her playing career, she became the President of the Student Government Association at AUM.
