Heath Zapf was a member of the AUM baseball team two years. Despite playing only two years in the orange and black, Zapf completed his career as AUM's career leader for batting average (.413), home runs (35) and RBI's (166). He ranks among the career leaders in runs scored (176), hits (167) and bases on balls (53). Heath not only led the team in many statistical categories during his two years, but also helped the Senators post an overall record of 91-29. Heath was given All-Region honors in 1998 and 1999. He was named a NAIA First-Team All-American in 1998 and to the second team in 1999.
