Q.V. Lowe became the first coach at AUM in 1987, and has held the post ever since - recording over 600 victories along the way. Lowe has guided the Senators to two NAIA World Series, finishing as NAIA National Runner-Up in 1990. That season, Lowe was selected as the NAIA National Coach of the Year. His teams have averaged 40-plus wins and captured five conference championships during his 17 years. He has coached 48 All-Conference selections, 35 All-Area selections, 27 NAIA All-Americans and 19 players who have played professionally. His record at the time of his induction was 679-367-3.
